Our nights have been boring. After work and school we come home exhausted and either have to do homework or study for a test for the next day. After studying we may be able to fit in a TV show from our Netflix list and then its off to bed. Well this was not the case for last Friday night! Friday we got school off because the Safford fair came to town! We were so excited because we were actually going to be in town this year to go to it! Last year during that weekend Ethan and I took a trip to Sierra Vista for me to meet his family! That weekend we became officially boyfriend and girlfriend! So it was our one year anniversary! Anyway back to the fair! Did I mention that it was my first one??!!! I never really asked my parents why they never took us to any fairs....I guess we are more of a Disneyland family ....thank goodness! But the fair turned out to be really fun! It wasn't what I thought it was going to be like. I have watched plenty of movies and TV shows that had fairs in them. They always seemed so clean and safe. I didn't really trust any of the rides. I didn't want to get sick...or die! We did end up going on the ferris wheel! It stunk though because Ethan and I got our own...you know for privacy... but they made us sit on different sides from each other I guess to balance it out. We kissed a couple of times anyway but it was super difficult. We then played some games and Ethan ALMOST won me this cute bunny!! But they told us we won the stupid stuffed animal instead! We were so close! And of course we had some snacks! We settled with a bag of cotton candy and some fresh squeezed lemonade! So good! My favorite part was just walking around with Ethan laughing and having fun! It was a great night that we really needed! My other favorite part was getting the cup my lemonade came in! Haha I love it more than the stuffed animal Ethan won me! I'm sad we didn't bring our camera to take pictures but I took a picture of our prizes when we got home!
Ethan and I at Disneyland (looks like we are at a fair though) I just love this picture! Told you we were Disneyland people!
Kayli, I always wanted to take you to a fair, but there is a reason mom and I never took you. You see, we bought you at a fair many, many, years ago. An Indian trapeze artist asked us if we wanted a cute olive skinned girl. We asked if her name started with a "B", but they didn't have any of those. Anyway, we have been fearful ever since that if we took you to a fair, perhaps your real father would see you and recognize you. Sorry 'bout that.
