The Happiest Day of My Life!

This thanksgiving I am thankful for WALT DISNEY!! He is a genius! I hope someday in heaven I will be able to meet him and when I do I probably will be so happy that I will start to cry and then I will thank him for making the happiest place on earth; a place that has brought some of the happiest moments in my life....thank you Walt Disney.

I realized I am very bad at blogging. Do you know how I figured this out? A couple of weeks ago my family and I went to Disneyland. While at Disneyland my boyfriend Ethan proposed to me!!! A normal person who blogs would have posted this news with pictures probably within a day or two. It has taken me three weeks to finally post my engagement. Don't get me wrong, I am sooooo excited and happy to be engaged and of course I want everyone to know!! I love my fiance!!! I have never been so happy in my entire life and I cannot wait to spend eternity with him. So here are a few pictures of the best weekend ever at Disneyland! Thanks mom for the trip and for paying for Ethan and I. You are the best mom anyone could ask for and I love you so much! I also should probably thank my dad too for practically reminding me everyday to update my dang blog!! I love you :)

So here is how it went. For you crazy people who have never been on Peter Pan or let alone Disneyland; The Peter Pan ride is one of the classics at Disneyland. You cannot go to Disneyland and not go on the Peter Pan ride....its just a must. So Ethan and I were on our own little flying boat together and it came to the part where the room is completely dark except the twinkling stars and the city lights below us. So we were just cuddling and then Ethan starts playing in his pocket then takes my hand and says to me, "Kayli, I love you so much. Will you marry me?" and of course I yell "YES, of course!" We then made out the rest of the ride....  When I had the chance I looked down at my new engagement ring but it wasn't the ring that we had picked out together. Since my ring was being sized and he couldn't get it in time to use at Disneyland he had bought a cute mickey mouse diamond ring and used that until we could get my real one. I have such an amazing fiance. He is so sweet to me and I love him so much! He gave me the perfect engagement! The peter pan ride will never be the same for me. Maybe the next time we are on it I will tell him I am pregnant ;)

Goodbye Disneyland...

hello.

So pretty much everyone I know has a blog.... and yes I followed everyone else and made me one too!

I am actually really excited to start posting fun and exciting things that are going to start happening in my life.
I am also a little nervous because I know that my blog will never compare to my older sisters blog, which is absolutely amazing!!!
I pretty much know that the only people that will actually be reading this is probably my mom, some family members and relatives, and a couple of friends.....so I am glad I don't have to make it all fancy :)

But my very first post is dedicated to this years Halloween!
Halloween was so much fun! It was my first Halloween party while being in college.

So the Friday before Halloween I did the usual routine of waking up early and going to all my classes. After classes I came back to my apartment. It was full of people scrambling to try and think of ideas of what they were going to dress up as and use for their costumes. I just stood there with a big smile on my face and filled with relief that I didn't have to hurry and prepare a last minute costume.

I had planned my costume about a month ahead and with the help of my mom and sister and the thrift stores in mesa I found me the perfect punk rocker outfit.

I thought for sure that my outfit would be one of the best and well thought out outfits at the party....but no....my boyfriend had to out do me with his last minute Halloween costume as Papa Smurf. Yes Papa Smurf. Every single person at the party loved his outfit. Random girls would come up to him and ask to take pictures... yes he was a hot shot. And yes I was jealous. I would even kiss his disgusting white Santa beard just to show girls that Ethan was all mine. Even though I was a little upset that he totally looked way better than I did, I was happy that I had such a popular outgoing boyfriend who could pull off pretty much anything!!!
